This story takes place on the out skirts of the farthest any human has ever seen. After a long journey and one final push to get to the unknown, Cosmonaut Charlie passes out from adrenaline. As the scene fades back in, you see a futuristic space ship floating through a huge, dark, star infested, cosmos. As the camera works it's way closer to the ship, you see a figure start to appear and hear this beeping from the ship. Completely out of breath and in panic, Charlie comes back to.
He hears this beeping as he calms down and finds the place amplifying sound. A red button is blinking, which looks like it lines up with the sound. He then reaches out, pushes the button, and a female voice comes on through the ship intercom.
Hello Charlie, welcome to planet Metanoia which is a cosmos of self exploration and an introspection of your former self. By facing the illusions of walls we build around our self, we can then start to truly live. This process can be somewhat sudden. As soon as you get comfortable another wall is presented for you to face. Good luck and may the odds be ever in your favor.
Initiate Mission: Cosmonaut Charlie.
This story is made with no story of how his journey goes. To me, his journey is my journey. As his journey to you, is your journey. When you listen you create your own world and representations of what you think I am creating. This story embraces that idea and gives you a story line, some trippy ass electronic space music, and 20 minutes to look within and create the world you want for yourself.
This idea was all created through this monolog that I felt summed up best what I was trying to go for with this project. All I wanted to do was create a place for someone to be able to listen & grow. The story all comes from some amazingly real conversations, ranging from childhood traumas to NASA discoveries. Getting all this new information and amazing rawness, I then created Cosmonaut Charlie. Just like every project I have done, and will continue to do, it will be very raw and real. I hope when someone turns my music on, they can start to feel the music guide them like a train track guides a train, precise, thought out paths, to your desired destination.
As I have encouraged before and always will, please take these 20 minutes as YOUR 20 minutes. Even if you don't enjoy the music at least take that time to think about your life and where you'd like to be. I love you guys so much and your support is the fuel to this entire thing! Remember you are never alone. Being part of a wolf pack also means taking care of each other and working together. If you ever need anything reach out please! :)
